Chocolate Vanilla Marble Cake

Made for my high school's annual band auction. It sold for $145! It was the most expensive dessert there
I thought and still think it looks pretty bad (the chocolate was not cooperating that day at all), but I guess someone thought it looked good.
I didn't get a picture of the inside, this pic was actually taken by a friend, but I swirled the chocolate and vanilla batter with a knife and the frosting is just chocolate and a little vanilla. There are two layers of cake and the bits on top are pieces of chocolate. I was trying to make swirls, somewhat like this [link] but obviously failed miserably. As I said before, the chocolate was not cooperating... >.>
